Game Boy Micro AliExpress Aftermarket Reproduction Shells 2023 (Review/Unboxing)

Do you have a Game Boy Micro that’s in need of a shell swap? Game Boy Micro reproduction shells have a bit of a history for not being quite as good as the aftermarket shells available for other Nintendo consoles such as the Game Boy Color and the Nintendo DS.

I decided to take the plunge and see if the faceplates and shells offered on AliExpress are worth the time, effort, and money that goes into a Micro shell replacement. The Final Fantasy IV console variant is gorgeous, but will we be able to recreate it with one of these shells?

This is my first ever Youtube video, it wasn’t supposed to be the first, I have a few other projects on the go, this one just ended up being the quickest to produce. I’ve still got a few things I need to learn/improve on, I’d really appreciate your thoughts and opinions on the Game Boy Micro shell and the video itself!
