In this video we look at an AliExpress LiFePO4 Case Battery. At 12.8V (100Ah), this provides plenty of portable power and long battery cycle life that doesn’t break the bank. This was originally purchased to provide a method to extend the battery capacity (runtime) on our existing solar generators as they are not upgradeable or expandable. Another driver was to have something that was still portable and could be used in its own right without the need for a solar generator. This battery has proved so useful that the latest (slightly revised) version is on its way from China as this video is being published. We will make another video once the next case battery has arrived so show the differences and share how we’ve got on with it.
