I bought the cheapest 30 amp PWM solar charge controller I could find from a reliable source and did it blow up? for more solar / DC content. These are not intended to use with Lifepo4 batteries and i mistakenly say AC output, meant DC – apologies. Follow up video – shows how to navigate setting.

The reason you need to connect the battery 1st is because the solar controller needs to know what pre set voltage to use 12v, 24v etc.
