Charge discharge module from Aliexpress: review and test

On this video i test the charge discharge module from aliexpress

It could be really a nice module with LED charge status, boost, timer off, seithc off..
But i have some concern in the reliability.

This is where i bought them:
€ 0,44 | DC 5V 2.1A Mobile Power Diy Board 4.2V Charge/Discharge(boost)/battery protection/indicator module 3.7V lithium 18650

Standard VS upgraded:
I tested the standard version, without part marking on the IC
Maybe the upgraded version is better, will let you know in one month when i receive them.

UPDATE 30/12/2020
Also the upgraded one, with the marked IC (IP5306) is not able to power the WPL14, which is just blinking on and off, even with 3300uF capacitor at the output
At least it is not exploding, some of them are not even turning off. A disaster.

I will probably also try to swap the IC with a “marked one”

Functionality are all in the specs, but i destroyed 3 of them just turning it on and off with a small rc car connected

I think they could be dangerous, also for the battery, because once i had them looking off (output to 0v) but still sinking 200mA and heating up
