7$ Soldering Iron from Aliexpress Review

A Soldering Iron is one of the most essential tools one needs to have as an electronics hobbyist. i have bought this 80W soldering iron recently from aliexpress. and upon few days of usage, i am satisfied with its quality and performance. so i decided to do an unboxing and review video for this soldering iron.

the iron heats quickly. it has a LCD for temperature display, and you can adjust the temperature from a range of 180-480 Degree Celcius. though i would recommend not using it on higher temperatures for long as it may burn the tip.

i have also shared a few tips on how to use the soldering iron, including how to solder, how to clean the tip, and how to desolder using the soldering iron. the kit i have bought consists of the solder, along with 5 additional solder tips for various applications, and a metal stand for the solder. you can find the links for it below.

along with the soldering iron, i also have some tools which i consider as essentials for an electronics enthusiast. such as a helping hand magnifier stand which helps to hold components and boards mid-air, so that it is easy to solder. also a solder sucker, which as the name suggests sucks solder from the board. A solder wick is a braided copper wire which is used to remove excess solder, it can also be used to clean the soldering iron tip.
