☕️ 58.5mm Self-leveling spring push tamper “force tamper” review Aliexpress Breville Dual Boiler

My coffee gear keeps going up and up 🙊. I’ve been eyeing the Force Tamper for a while but I can’t bring myself to justify that price tag… yet. I also saw this tamper and I figured it was time for an upgrade since my Matow was isn’t quite a tight fit and wasn’t always giving me great results with my Breville Dual Boiler.

September 2021 UPDATE: still going strong. My new system actually is simpler, I don’t quite “care” about tamp pressure and readjusting all the time, I have more depth to play with, and I push until I feel a good amount of resistance and stop it there. I refreshed my memory about tamping puck pressure ( and unless I put my entire body weight on there and dislocate my elbow doing it, I can give it a good amount of pressure and simplify my life.
TLDR: it’s hard to “over press”
