10 Game Consoles Tested on 3 PLASMAS. Which Look Best?
Plasma TVs were 480p, “720p,” or 1080p. I explore which game consoles look best on each panel type and explain why I, despite owning OLEDs and CRTs, still enjoy plasmas. Each plasma panel resolution has a different look and use case. I also briefly show my history of HD CRT ownership over 10 years ago.
Feel free to comment your favorite memory of plasma TVs!
Consoles tested and discussed for comparison here:
PS2, GameCube, Dreamcast, original Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, and Analogue Pocket (with NES FPGA core and GBA games).

➤ Arcade-style carpet: (also available in many other sizes)
➤ Leather lounge chair + ottoman:
➤ 10-outlet switch boxes used throughout my setups:
➤ Automatic 8-input 1080p HDMI Switch: (Not good for 4K sources but great for using with plasmas!)
➤ Easel-style stand for 49-70 inch TVs up to 88 lbs.: (I had to and will have to modify it further to fit my 37″ panel… do so at your own risk.)
➤ XL Universal Table Top TV Stand: (Not shown today, but I bought this for my Kuro, which came without a stand. This has sleek black tempered glass and is very sturdy, even for the 50″ Kuro!)
